Overview
The Nepal Water Supply Corporation awarded a contract to Shimizu Corporation to improve the water supply system in Biratnagar. The project will increase the city's daily water supply capacity from 9,000 cubic meters to 15,000 cubic meters — a 67% increase — and extend essential water services to over 93,000 residents, up from the current 52,000 beneficiaries.
